Has anyone successfully completed USB compliance testing with a CP21x-based product since the "Dead Battery Test" (see below) was added? I see a 17mA (fail) current draw with the CP2102EK evaluation board.

It's strange.

I plugged in / out my CP2102EK repeatedly 10 times.
I saw 0.5 mA 4 times, 16-19 mA (varying) 6 times.
The LED on the board didn't light in both cases.
In both cases, the boards work without any error, when it connected to PC.
I tested CP2103EK, too, and got similar result.
Seems 16-19 mA shows unstable state.

My CP2102/3EKs are old one. SiLabs may change device revision.
Ask to SiLabs tech support, if they have fixed this problem on recent revision or not.

Hello Tsuneo,

Thanks for you response.

I get the same results with a new CP2102EK board and my own board. In this "unstable" state, SUSPEND and /SUSPEND pins are active as they should be, but the CP2102 draws too much current to pass the USB compliance Hub Suspend Current test.

I reported this to SiLabs tech support several weeks ago and await a solution.
