Has anyone successfully completed USB compliance testing with a CP21x-based product since the "Dead Battery Test" (see below) was added? I see a 17mA (fail) current draw with the CP2102EK evaluation board. http://compliance.usb.org/index.asp?UpdateFile=Battery Charging&Format=Standard IP: Logged |

It's strange. I plugged in / out my CP2102EK repeatedly 10 times. My CP2102/3EKs are old one. SiLabs may change device revision. Tsuneo [This message has been edited by Tsuneo (edited June 24, 2010).] IP: Logged |

Hello Tsuneo, Thanks for you response. I get the same results with a new CP2102EK board and my own board. In this "unstable" state, SUSPEND and /SUSPEND pins are active as they should be, but the CP2102 draws too much current to pass the USB compliance Hub Suspend Current test. I reported this to SiLabs tech support several weeks ago and await a solution. Ed IP: Logged |
