Hi,
i am using CP2102 USB TO UART BRIDGE CONTROLLER in my proto broad and i am facing some problem while interfacing with the PC.
I installed the latest driver from the silabs website and when i connect my device it shows in the device manager but when i run Flash Tool application (to flash the board) it doesnt open the comport for communication and when i traced the serial communication
With Portman software i got some result and it is attached in the email.
My OS is windows XP SP2 but to my surprise when i installed same software drivers in my laptop (IBM laptop OS - windows XP SP 2) it was working, then i tried on almost 5 desktop PC and 2 Laptop(DELL) which has same configuraion and it was not working and giving same error as you can see it in attachment.

I am just wondering what could be the cause for this problem.
Need your help to solve this problem.

Thanks
Anil Patil

It is the same bug, IOCTL_SERIAL_SET_QUEUE_SIZE, which discussed on this topic, "Problems with RealTerm and CP210x"

I sent a bug report to SiLabs on this issue.

Of my great interest, you have succeeded to run it on one of your laptop without error.
It may bring us some workaround.

Did you monitor the session with PortMon on this success case?
What are the InSize and OutSize parameters of IOCTL_SERIAL_SET_QUEUE_SIZE?
