 Power on reset problem in 8051

I have assembled 8051 and its associated circuitary on the general purpose pcb. But problem is power on reset ckt doesn't work at all. Here i have put switch across capacitor which works fine. I have only connected one LED to port 1.0 and other ports are unused. Could anyone tell me what's the problem. Here I am using 10uF - 10K combination. Again I have tried several RC combination but no result. I have assembled the same one more GP pcb but same result. IP: Logged |

Hi pravinfalcao, which SiLabs device are you using? Usually the capacitor in the reset circuit makes more problems than it helps. Regards, Scotty IP: Logged |
